“I am incredibly proud and happy to have been signed by Manchester City. They are the best team in England and with Pep Guardiola I have the chance to learn and develop from the best manager in world football. Being part of this club is a dream come true and something any young player would aspire to.”
According to the British newspaper The Guardian, the transfer was completed for around 10 million euros (R$ 51.6 million). The arrival of the 21-year-old to the Citizens can be understood as a way of providing alternatives to the departure of Oleksandr Zinchenko, who went to Arsenal.
