Tottenham manager confirms Richarlison’s return against Arsenal

In a press conference this Friday, Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham coach, confirmed that Richarlison has recovered from injury and will be available for the derby against Arsenal, scheduled for this Sunday. In addition to the Brazilian, Portuguese Pedro Porro is also back.

“Peter and Richy [Richarlison] They trained all week, so they are both available”, revealed the Greek-Australian coach.

Richarlison has been absent from Tottenham since the clash against West Ham on April 2nd. Despite having entered the final stretch of the match, it was enough for the Brazilian to have felt a problem with his knee.

Initially, there was an expectation that the Brazilian would return to the team in the game against Newcastle, which did not happen. Pedro Porro, in turn, was even a starter in this match, but felt physical problems and left the field just four minutes into the second half.

Tottenham hosts Arsenal this Sunday, at 10am (Brasília time), in the 35th round of the English Championship. The team led by Ange Postecoglou occupies fifth place in the table, with 60 points.
