McNulty wins the 3rd stage of the Tour de Romandie and Ayuso is the new leader of the race

Brandon McNulty (UAE Emirates) won the third stage of the Tour de Romandiea time trial 15.5 kilometers with start and finish in Oron. Juan Ayuso (UAE Emirates) is the new leader Swiss round.
McNulty (UAE Emirates) started the time trial in 142nd place in the general classification. He was one of the first to start and with a time of 20 minutes and six seconds he recorded the best time of the day after improving the time of his compatriot Magnus Sheffield (INEOS Grenadiers) which was 20 minutes and 19 seconds.
At the end of the day it was the turn of the first classified overall, but none could beat McNulty’s record. Second place went to Sheffield, 13 seconds behind the winner and Third place went to Felix Grobschartner (UAE Emirates), 14 seconds behind by McNulty.
Juan Ayuso (UAE Emirates) finished fourth with a time of 20 minutes and 27 seconds and spanish he put on the leader’s jersey. Ayuso surpassed Carlos Rodríguez by seven seconds (INEOS Grenadiers), in nine seconds to Alksandr Vlasov (BORA-hangrohe) and in ten to Ilan van Wilder (Soudal Quick-Step).
Therefore, Juan Ayuso leads the general classification with seven seconds ahead of Van Wilder (second), ten about Vlasov (third) and 11 about Rodríguez (room).
