Dancewicz was expelled from her studies. She entered the film industry by storm

Before Renata Dancewicz became a famous actress, she had to break through the glass ceiling. All because of a failure that was supposed to ruin her chances for an acting career, but paradoxically made her a huge success.

Renata Dancewicz dreamed of becoming an actress, but she was not particularly keen on learning. The interested person herself repeatedly emphasized that she was not a diligent student, unlike her friend Iza Kuna, who after graduating from college tried to break into the film industry for a long time. Dancewicz managed to do it much faster, even though she did not graduate from the State Higher School of Film, Television and Theater in Łódź.

She was expelled after two years of study by Juliusz Machulski, who did not predict a bright career for her. This event hit the actress like a bucket of cold water. She knew she had to prove her lecturer wrong. “I think that if I had finished school God’s way, I wouldn’t be an actress today because I’m too lazy. Because Machulski kicked me out and said that I wasn’t suitable for this profession, I decided to prove otherwise. I have a lazy nature and I give up on many things, but not when someone wants to decide about my life. ‘Yes, I’ll show you!'” she said in an interview for “Twój Styl”.

Renata Dancewicz’s true nature was already evident much earlier – the actress always had a lot to say and was not afraid of being judged for her views. “I came out with the opinion of a rebellious person who rebelled against others instead of learning,” she reported. Although she did not finish her studies, she quickly made a career on the big screen. But first she wanted to earn a few pennies. So she went to work in Norway, and after returning, she worked as a postwoman. She made her screen debut in 1993 in Feliks Falk’s film “Samowolka”. In the following years, she began to receive further offers of roles in “The Devil’s Education”, “Deborah” and “Colonel Kwiatkowski”.
