At least ten people died in a shooting at a supermarket in the US city of Buffalo, New York, according to local police, who announced that the attacker has been arrested.
According to a brief message from the city Police Department, the event took place at the Tops supermarket near downtown Buffaloa city located in the far north of the state of New York.
“Several people have been hit by gunshots. The shooter is in custody.” Police wrote in a Twitter message without offering details about his number or his status. It is known that there are more people injured.

The governor of New York, Jathy Hochul, has written a tweet assuring that she is closely following what happened and that she has offered support to local forces.
