The automotive multinational Stellantis announced this Thursday an investment of US$ 270 million for the manufacturing of the new Peugeot 2008 in Argentina.
The new model will be the first SUV manufactured by Stellantis in Argentina, specifically at its production center in the Buenos Aires town of El Palomar.
“This new investment of 270 million dollars to produce the new model in Argentina complements the 320 million already invested previously for the industrial transformation of El Palomar and the implementation of the CMP Modular Platform“the company said in a statement.
This is in addition to the recently announced investment by Stellantis of 400 million dollars in Argentina between the years 2025 and 2030 for the implementation of the ambitious regional strategic plan called Next Level.
