During the last seven weeks, wholesale fuel prices, at least in the case of that sold by Petroperú in its plants, have fallen.
In this way, the downward trend seen in recent weeks for the Osinergmin reference prices is replicated, which in turn follows international variations.
Just yesterday, Petroperú reduced, at its plant in Callao, the price of gasohol from 95 to S/0.57, going from S/21.50 to S/20.93 per gallon.
While, in the gasohol of 90, the drop was S/0.37, moving from S/20.38 to S/20.01 per gallon. These prices already include taxes.
However, through the Osinergmin Facilito application, it can be verified that in the taps of the capital the gasohol of 95 oscillates between S / 19.56 —specifically in block 19 of av. Metropolitana (Comas)—and S/27.59 per gallon—at km 18 of Av. San Martin (Cieneguilla).
And, regarding the gasohol of 90, touches a minimum of S / 18.55 per gallon in the block 48 of the av. Javier Prado (La Molina), and a peak of S/24.39, again in the mentioned location of Cieneguilla.
It is worth noting that the service stations, as La República was able to verify with the indicators of the last month with a cut-off date in the first week of August, still do not transfer consumers between S/2.01 and S/1.50, in the case of gasohols of 95 and 90, respectively.

According to the Peruvian Agency for Consumers and Users (Opecu), both Repsol and Petroperú reduced fuel prices by up to S/0.73 per gallon of gasoholes, while in diesel variants, by up to S/0.26.
“There are eight consecutive weeks of sharp falls in the international reference prices of fuels, the total of which, in an inequitable and unfair manner, has not yet been transferred to the Peruvian market, thus harming the economy of consumers and sharpening their mistrust in the energy sector. ”, said Héctor Plate, president of Opecu.
