The Government decided to extend the Purchases to MYPErú program until December 31, 2022 with the aim of continuing to support micro and small companies nationwide, reported the Ministry of Production (Produce).
“With this expansion, the executing purchasing nuclei will be able to complete the processes of acquiring goods from the Mypes that have processes until June 30, 2022, and with this, they will also be enabled until March 31 of the next year, to culminate with the delivery of goods to the plaintiff entities and to liquidate their operations”, detailed the ministry in a press release.
According to Produce estimates, this expansion will benefit more than 2,250 MSEs in the textile-apparel, leather and footwear, metalworking and furniture manufacturing sectors. In addition, contracts will be generated for a total amount of S/ 240.85 million, to provide uniforms, furniture, hospital clothing, among other goods required by the Ministry of the Interior, Health and Defense.
“This measure is given within the framework of the initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Production that seek to strengthen the situation of Micro-enterprises, which are the main engine of the economy and generation of employment in the country,” highlights Produce.
