Music, dance and theater will recreate a night of the 20s in a concert in Quito

A night in one of the bars of the 20’s, with its traditional presentation of live music, dance and comedy theater performances. That’s what it offers Show Time which will take place, in its only presentation, at the San Gabriel theater, this September 28.

The work, which mixes three types of art, is represented by national and international artists. The function will start at 8:30 p.m. and will be made up of a total of ten characters on stage.

Magdalena Soto, general director of the play, indicated that this show inspired by the 1920s represents what happened after the First World War.

“It is a very fun night, a very different show that has not been seen in Quito. One feels that one is transported through the music, the atmosphere and the costumes to that time that has marked so much in the history of art. It generates a lot of emotions and people leave very happy”, added Soto.

Actresses and musicians are called to be part of two shows of the International Festival of Live Arts of Loja 2022

The cast will be made up of Cecilia Dávila and Rosario Pallares, on voice; Santiago Carcelén, in acting and physical comedy; the pianist Daniel Pacheco; the Danish Bjarke Lund, in the musical direction and the guitar; the Chilean Magdalena Soto Dragicevic, in the general direction and voice; and more artists from Ecuador, Germany and Denmark.
