Juan Manuel Correa ‘looks ahead’ and prepares his performance in Spielberg | Other Sports | Sports

After a complicated participation in Silverstone, the Ecuadorian driver John Manuel Correa gets ready for what will be the fifth day of the Formula 3 championship in Spielberg (Austria).

Silverstone marked the return of Correa to the competition after missing two months due to a metatarsal fracturebut his comeback was not entirely successful.

“It was a race too short to explain. A collision with another driver that damaged my front suspension and forced me to leave”, said Correa, driver of the ART Gran Prix team.

“It was a weekend to forget. Let’s see if there is a little luck next race and we’ll bounce back of this weekend from which we came out without points”, commented the national pilot.

Fulfilled the fourth date of Formula 3Belt ranks 13th of the general classification, with 21 points.

This weekend it the race is coming in spielberg. Friday will be practice day and in the afternoon the classification day.

The sprint will be held on Saturday, and the race is scheduled for Sunday (01:35 in Ecuador).

Correa arrives with expectation at the Red Bull Ring circuit. “There is little time and a lot of pending work for the next race, which starts on Friday. July is a month with many races. We hope that the team can gain momentum to get back to the front and fight for better positions”, he indicated.
