The goalkeeper of the Russian national hockey team Ivan Fedotov was hospitalized under the Ministry of Defense. This was announced on the air of Match TV by journalist Sergei Orlov.
According to him, the 25-year-old goalkeeper is in the 1469th naval clinical hospital in Severodvinsk with exacerbation of gastritis. The journalist added that he did not manage to get into the territory of the hospital.
On July 4, it became known that Fedotov was sent to the training unit of the Russian Navy. It was noted that the goalkeeper will stay there until September.
Fedotov was detained on July 1. He was taken to the military registration and enlistment office, where he had an attack of gastritis. The situation developed against the backdrop of the player’s recent signing of a contract with the Philadelphia Flyers. Previously, he played for CSKA, with whom he won the Gagarin Cup. With the Russian national team, the athlete became the silver medalist of the Beijing Olympics.
