Voronezh “Fakel” announced the departure of Sergei Tashuev
Coach Sergei Tashuev was fired from his second RPL club this season. Voronezh “Fakel” announced his departure. The information was published on the club’s official website.
“I thank the management, the players and, of course, the wonderful Voronezh fans for the time I spent at Fakel. It was a good experience for all of us. Unfortunately, in this situation, I need to be at home now,” Tashuev said. He noted that the decision to leave the club was due to family circumstances.
At the beginning of the season, Tashuev was fired from Akhmat. The 65-year-old specialist came to Fakel in September 2023. The Voronezh team lost the last four games under his leadership with a total score of 1:8. At the moment, Fakel is in 11th place in the RPL table, gaining 26 points.
In mid-April, Spartak Moscow also fired their head coach. The Spaniard Guillermo Abascal left the post, and his assistant Vladimir Sliskovich became the acting assistant.
