Makhachev spoke about the opponent’s proposal to give the Russian victory

Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Islam Makhachev spoke about the offer of one of the rivals to give him the victory in the fight. This is reported by “Championship.com”.

Makhachev clarified that this is not about MMA, but about combat sambo competitions in Ingushetia. According to the Russian’s recollection, he had to go to a duel with an injury, as his opponent learned about. The latter offered to voluntarily lose and give the victory to Makhachev, in response to which the Russian refused. He offered his opponent to have a fair fight and won the fight.

Makhachev is known for his performances in the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC). On October 30, he will have a duel with New Zealander Dan Hooker. The latter agreed to replace the ex-champion of the organization Rafael Dos Anjos.

Makhachev is an ally of former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. He trained under the guidance of his father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov and repeatedly took part in combat sambo tournaments.
