Striker Michael Estrada signed his contract with Cruz Azul on Tuesday and on Wednesday night he made his debut with the cement workers, in a 1-2 defeat against Tijuana, in a duel for the new date of the 2022 Opening of Liga MX.
Estrada started as a starter in the game that took place at the Azteca stadium and at 59 minutes he was replaced by his teammate Gonzalo Carneiro.
According to the ESPN sports portal, the tricolor had “few options” to score and on one occasion, the action was annulled.

The Argentine Franco di Santo gave the victory to the ‘Xolos’ by culminating a counterattack with a shot inside the area at 66.
