Russian blogger Exile, whose real name is Ilya Yatskevich, faces the risk of temporarily using a wheelchair due to a long-standing knee injury. The popular video creator disclosed the medical update to his fans on his Telegram channel.
Yatskevich explained that he tore his meniscus as a result of an old injury sustained while practicing karate. He stated that he might need to undergo surgery and could be left unable to walk for a period of time during his recovery.
If surgery is required, Yatskevich noted that he still intends to host his extreme hide-and-seek show on YouTube. He told viewers that under those circumstances, he would look for the game's participants while using a wheelchair. Following the update, he wished his subscribers good health and urged them to take care of themselves.

Exile has established a widespread presence on social media platforms, particularly YouTube, where his channel ExileShow features high-budget entertainment challenges, group games, and collaborative reality videos. A meniscus tear is one of the most common knee injuries, occurring when the C-shaped piece of tough cartilage that cushions the knee joint is damaged. Medical treatment for such tears often depends on the severity of the cartilage damage, ranging from conservative physical therapy to surgical intervention.

Yatskevich is not the only Russian entertainer to speak publicly about an on-set injury in recent times. Comedian Andrei Minin, known for his stage persona Dyusha Metelkin in the musical comedy group USB on the Comedy Club project, previously shared details of a physical mishap during production.
Minin recalled how he broke his arm while participating in a video shoot. He explained that he tripped and fell during filming because the room was dimly lit. Comedy Club, which airs on national television in Russia, features stand-up routines, celebrity interviews, and comedic musical performances by USB, a parody group known for high-energy comedy sketches.
