A shooting has occurred at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas “multiple victims” the city’s Metropolitan Police indicated in its initial estimates of the event, adding shortly afterwards a suspect was “neutralized”.
The shooting suspect was located near the 4500 block of Maryland Parkway.

The Las Vegas police have urged this on social networks citizens avoided the area, while the university itself told its students that the warning received was not a drill and that they were safe.

“We are responding to preliminary reports of an active shooter on the UNLV campus near Beam Hall. There appear to be several victims at this time. Please avoid the area and we will have more information shortly,” the university’s preliminary report said.
The police have not announced how many people are involved. even if they are dead or injured and claimed only that “there appear to be multiple victims.” The White House limited itself to pointing out that it is following events very closely.
The shootings are “an epidemic that the president, Joe Biden, has taken very seriously. That is why we have taken measures. “We are closely monitoring the situation,” presidential spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said during her daily press conference.
