The expert said that a simple bike ride will not give the desired effect. Karavaeva noted that in order to obtain results, it is necessary to conduct high-intensity interval training.
Karavaeva explained that the magnitude of the loads should be determined both by sensations and by pulse calculations. “The maximum value can be calculated by the formula: from 220 (for women – from 226) subtract age. During an intense period, the pulse can reach 80-90 percent of the maximum value. During the recovery period, the pulse should be within 40-60 percent of the maximum, ”she said.

The coach emphasized that, depending on the pulse, intense intervals can last from five seconds to two minutes. Recovery periods should be equal to or greater than intensive and can last up to four minutes.
Earlier, trainer Fedor Koltun revealed a way to lose weight with a single charge. He said that it is best to start the workout with jumping or running in place, then do exercises for stretching the back, squats, push-ups and lunges.
