20-year-old Polina Dvorkina appeared before the court in Krasnoyarsk, who shot her father and attacked a kindergarten. According to the investigating authorities of the Russian Investigative Committee for the region, the girl was found guilty and convicted.
According to the case file, Dvorkina first shot her father – the daughter hit the sleeping man twice on the head with dumbbells, and then finished off with a shot. She then came to the kindergarten with a pump-action shotgun, reportedly planning to kill the boys. The barrel of a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun was shoved into the top of her boot, the butt of the gun hidden by her coat. She was disarmed and detained by kindergarten teachers. At the time of the scuffle, a shot occurred – the charge hit the wall, no one was hurt. About 40 cartridges with buckshot and a gas cartridge were found in the girl’s pockets. According to the materials of the case, Dvorkina came to this kindergarten a couple of days before the attack under the pretext of finding a job.
According to investigators, since 2014, Dvorkina, on the basis of her passion for the ideas of feminism and the works of foreign authors on this topic, in combination with her mental disorder, developed hatred towards males.
The state prosecution demanded 19 years in prison for the defendant. The court appointed the accused 17 years in a penal colony with restriction of liberty for two years after her release. Dvorkina was also prescribed outpatient treatment by a psychiatrist. The girl will pay compensation for non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 1 million rubles to her mother, who lost her husband. instead of the requested 10 million rubles.
