Russian television presenter Ksenia Borodina has named customer service and food quality as the main downsides of the United States following her recent trip.
Writing on her Instagram account, the popular blogger stated that service standards in American establishments fall well short of what consumers regularly experience in Moscow.
Borodina noted that residents in Moscow are very spoiled when it comes to customer care. She said that no matter where a person travels in the world, they will never encounter the same high level of attentive service toward customers as they find in the Russian capital.
In addition to customer service, the television host highlighted difficulty in finding delicious food during her travel across the country. Borodina explained that she experienced problems finding tasty meals despite visiting top rated restaurants together with her family throughout their journey.

Borodina is a well known Russian media personality and blogger who built her television career hosting major national programs, including the long running reality show Dom 2 on the TNT network. She shares regular lifestyle and travel updates on Instagram, a social media platform owned by Meta Platforms, which Russian authorities have designated as an extremist organization. Moscow, the capital of Russia, boasts an extensive restaurant industry and high digital service standards that domestic public figures frequently benchmark against overseas travel destinations.
Relocation plans and recognition in New York
The travel comments follow earlier public statements by Borodina regarding her view of living abroad. She had previously reflected on whether she could move to the United States, concluding that she has no plans to leave Russia.
Prior to those remarks, Borodina also shared her surprise at the reception she received while visiting New York City. The television host stated that members of the public recognized her on the streets of New York more frequently than they did back home in Moscow. New York City is home to the largest Russian speaking population in the United States, with prominent diaspora communities established across several neighborhoods.
