Supporting iOS 18 iPhones listed

iPhone Xs, iPhone SE second generation and newer smartphones will receive iOS 18

Smartphones released in 2018 and newer models will receive the new version of Apple’s iOS. The devices are listed on the company’s website.

The new iOS 18 will be available for download on iPhone Xs, Xr, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, as well as the second generation iPhone SE. Thus, the operating system will be supported by almost all Apple smartphones released six years ago and later.

The new iPadOS 18, which is a tablet-friendly version of iOS 18, will be available to users of the seventh generation iPad, fifth generation iPad mini, third generation iPad Air, iPad Air on M2, first generation 11-inch iPad Pro, 12.9-inch iPad Pro third generation, iPad Pro on M4 and newer devices.

The desktop operating system, macOS Sequoia, will be available on the 2018 MacBook Pro, 2020 MacBook Air, 2017 iMac Pro, 2019 Mac Pro, 2018 Mac mini, 2022 Mac Studio, 2019 iMac, and newer devices. Finally, watchOS 11 will be available on Apple Watch 6, 7, 8, 9, Ultra and Ultra 2, as well as the second generation Apple Watch SE. The final versions of all operating systems will be available for download in the fall.

Apple presented a new generation of operating systems for its gadgets at the WWDC conference on June 10. Among other things, the company showed iOS 18, which received a redesign, a new Photos application, the ability to customize the location of application icons and change buttons on the lock screen.
