Russians dispelled “myths from the past” about charging a smartphone

The head of the Content-review.com agency, Sergey Polovnikov, said that popular ideas about charging a smartphone are “myths from the past.” The expert dispelled them, emphasizing that stereotypes are not relevant in relation to modern gadgets, Sputnik radio reports.

The analyst said that almost all of the myths about electronics come from the past, where battery technology and energy consumption technologies were different. “Then it might have made sense to discharge the device and then fully charge it. Today, such advice sounds the same as advice to unpack a new device with a full moon and shamanic dances, ”he stressed.

Polovnikov reminded the Russians that the battery of a modern smartphone is also gradually degrading and losing capacity, but this is a consequence of other reasons. He stated that the part is designed to work for two years.

“Instead of keeping track of the charge level, it’s better to change the battery in your smartphone or other device in a timely manner. Replacing the battery in time will save you a lot of nerves. You have to understand that battery degradation in a gadget is a matter of time, and not a question of at what percentage you start charging the device, ”the specialist explained.

Earlier, the Russians were told the signs of the death of the iPhone. This may be evidenced by a flickering screen and a sudden restart of the gadget.
