Microsoft global outage. Teams, Skype, Outlook and OneDrive are not working

As indicated by the Downdetector.pl service, where you can observe interruptions in the supply of individual services on the Internet, the first notifications about Microsoft services began to arrive en masse on Wednesday morning after 2 p.m. 8:00. So far, several thousand reports have been received about problems with the functioning of the application and Skype, the Outlook platform and the OneDrive service. Internet users also report problems with the Xbox Live service.

Applications are also coming from the largest cities in Poland, including Warsaw, Krakow, Katowice, Poznan, Gdynia and Wroclaw. Gazeta.pl also experienced problems when using the Teams service. Internet users indicate that new emails are not arriving in Outlook. Some users complain about not being able to access files in OneDrive, and Skype has problems with top-ups and buying subscriptions.

Microsoft confirmed on Twitter that it is aware of the ongoing outage and is working on a fix. “We have identified a potential network issue and are reviewing telemetry data to determine next steps for troubleshooting,” it said.

Over 280 million people worldwide use Microsoft Teams. It is an integral part of the daily activities of companies and schools that use it, among others, to for making calls, scheduling meetings and organizing work.
