Former world boxing champion, State Duma deputy Nikolai Valuev received a summons to the draft board. He told Izvestia about this.
“I think everyone came. I also received a notice. I’m going to the military registration and enlistment office now, ”said the former boxer. He added that his colleagues got on the military register in the State Duma, where they were able to get summons, and for this he needs to go home.
Earlier it became known about the receipt of the summons by the skier of the Russian national team Anton Timashov and the head of the team Roman Borisov. The Russian Ski Racing Federation has already requested a reprieve for them.
On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of partial mobilization in the country. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu specified that a total of 300,000 reservists are planned to be called up.
