Mexico beats Peru, Australia beats New Zealand again in friendly

In the early hours of this Sunday, two more friendly preparations for the World Cup were held. The opening date of the tournament in Qatar is set for November 20, while the final will take place on December 18.

Mexico’s team got the better of Peru, which is out of the World Cup. With a goal by Hirving Lozano, the team closed the score with a score of 1 to 0 at the Rose Bowl Stadium, in California.

Next Tuesday, the Mexicans face the friendly against Colombia, at 23:00 (GMT).

Mexico is part of Group C of the World Cup. His debut in the championship is on November 22 against Poland at 1 pm. Argentina and Saudi Arabia complete the bracket.

The other duel that took place was between Australia and New Zealand, which will not participate in the edition of the Cup, at the Venue Eden Park Stadium, in Auckland. The Australians won 2-0, with goals from Mitchell Duke and Jason Cummings.

The Australian team had already surpassed New Zealand this week. Last Thursday, the team won 1-0.

This was Australia’s last match before their first game in the Qatar World Cup, in Group D. The team will face France in the first round, at 16:00. Denmark and Tunisia are also part of the group.
