RB Leipzig starts comeback at the end and beats Werder Bremen 2-1 in the Bundesliga

The match between RB Leipzig and Werder Bremen, this Sunday (14), ended the 32nd round of the German Championship. At Red Bull Arena, a very emotional duel: Nkunku made a move in the last minute of the match and served Szoboszlai. The Hungarian did not waste any time and completed the comeback for the home team ‘in the basin of souls’: 2-1.

Leonardo Bittencourt, German son of a Brazilian, opened the scoring for the visitors — while Willi Orbán, also at the end of the match, in the 42nd minute of the final stage, left everything the same for the home team.

With the heroic victory, RB Leipzig overtook Union Berlin in the leaderboard. The club is now in 3rd place, with 60 points won and a campaign of 18 wins, six draws and eight defeats. Werder Bremen remain in 12th, with 35 points – four behind Borussia Mönchengladbach and one ahead of Augsburg.

In the next round, RB Leipzig goes to Munich to face Bayern, at 1:30 pm (Brasília time) on Saturday. Werder Bremen, in turn, receives Cologne at the Weserstadion on the same day, but at 10:30 am.

Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen are tied

In the other match this Sunday for the German Championship, Stuttgart received Bayer Leverkusen in their arena, but failed to win. Guirassy opened the scoring for the home team, but Exequiel Palacios, from the penalty spot, left everything the same: the final score was 1-1.

The result left Stuttgart in the relegation zone, in 17th, with 29 points. Bayer Leverkusen, on the other hand, failed to overcome Wolfsburg in the table and remains outside the Europa League classification zone: 7th place and 49 points conquered.
