Russian Ministry of Defense air defense units destroyed four Ukrainian drones over Tula Oblast, regional Governor Dmitry Milyaev reported on his official Telegram channel.

The statement regarding the downed unmanned aerial vehicles was published on Aug. 9 at 1:34 a.m. Moscow time. Milyaev said there were no casualties, and preliminary information indicated no damage to any buildings or infrastructure.

A threat of drone attacks remains in effect across Tula Oblast. Prior to the incident, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked Belgorod and Belgorod Oblast, causing damage to apartment buildings and private houses. A drone alert is also active in Penza Oblast.
