With 82 passengers and 97 crew members, the MS FRAM arrived this Tuesday morning, the first cruise ship that docked in Manta at the beginning of the season for the arrival of ships in this Manabi port.
After its journey through the port of Buenaventura, in Colombia, the ship arrived at the Manabi port operated by the concessionaire of this maritime terminal, Terminal Portuario de Manta (TPM).
The MS FRAM is 115 meters long and 5.10 meters deep. The ship has restaurants, a gym, Jacuzziselevators, living rooms and entertainment.
According to information from the Port Authority of Manta (APM), the next cruise ship that will arrive in Manta will be the Roald Amundsen, on Tuesday, October 11, and in this same month the MS Fridtjof Nansen, the Scenic Eclipse and the Seabourn Venture.

After arrival at the port of Manta, the Norwegian-flagged cruise ship MS FRAM will set sail for Puerto Bolívar, province of El Oro.
Meanwhile, four more cruise ships are expected to arrive at the port of Manta in November and three will arrive in December. Meanwhile, in the year 2023 the visit of more than 20 cruise ships is projected.
Before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the world, an estimated 30,000 passengers arrived in Manta on cruise ships that came mainly from the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

According to APM statistics, between January and February 2020, ten cruise ships with 15,535 passengers and crew arrived at the port of Manta. From there, tourist ships did not arrive again until last year, when a cruise ship with 604 people docked.
