Apple may cut iPhone 13 production by 10 million units this year due to global chip shortages. Bloomberg reports.
According to the agency, the company expected to produce 90 million new iPhone models in the last three months of 2021, but the total volume will now be lower due to problems with the supply of sufficient parts from Broadcom and Texas.
On September 14, Apple held its traditional fall event, which showed off the iPhone 13 series smartphones, Apple Watch 7 and new versions of the iPad and iPad mini. The devices went on sale in late September – early October.
According to insiders, in October Apple may introduce a new generation of computers based on the M1X processor. In early October, sources told about MacBook Pro models with screens of 14 and 16 inches, based on a Micro-LED matrix. Apple’s current ARM processor is the M1 chip.
