Anticipated champion, PSG beats Nice with a mixed team in the French Championship

Anticipated champion, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) visited Nice and won 2-1, in the French Championship. The home team’s goal was scored by Mohamed Ali-Cho, while Barcola and Yoram Zague scored for the Parisians.

PSG is already the champion of this edition of Ligue 1 and reached 73 points in 33 games. Nice, in turn, was in fifth place, with 54 points in the same 33 matches.

Paris Saint-Germain’s next game will be against Metz, this Sunday, at 4pm (Brasília time), away from home, in the last round of the French Championship. Nice will face Lille this Sunday, away from home, at 4pm, in the same tournament.

PSG were better in the first half and scored two goals in five minutes. At 18, Barcola took advantage of Nice’s wrong play and hit the goalkeeper’s left corner to open the scoring. At 23, Barcola started from the left and played hard in the middle of the area for Yoram Zague to expand.

Still in the first stage, Nice decreased. At 32, Jeremie Boga stole the ball during PSG’s wrong start and found Mohamed Ali-Cho, who hit hard, in the corner, and scored for the home team.

In the other game this Tuesday, Reims hosted Olympique de Marseille and won 1-0. The only goal of the match was an own goal by Marseille defender Mbemba.
