Dybala recovers from injury on the eve of the Europa League final, but starting is still in doubt

Roma are looking for their second international title in history on Wednesday. The Italian team faces Sevilla, from Spain, in the final of Europa Leaguestarting at 4 pm (Brasília time), at Puskás Aréna, in Budapest, Hungary.

Coach José Mourinho hopes to count on his best player for the decision, but his physical condition is in doubt. Paulo Dybala has been living with injuries this season and the most recent one was in the match against Atalanta, for the 31st round of the Italian Championship.

Since then, the Argentine has been out of five of the eight games that Roma have played, including the return game of the Europa League semis, in which they eliminated Bayern Leverkusen, from Germany.

According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Dybala trained normally on Monday and did not feel pain in his ankle, where he suffered his last injury. However, his presence in the final from the opening minutes is unlikely and the striker should be an option in the reserve.

In addition to Paulo Dybala, Roma also suffered from the absence of two starters in recent games. Winger Leonardo Spinazzola suffered a muscle injury in the Europa League semifinal and had to leave the match in the first half of the return game. In the final, Spinazzola must start on the bench.

Midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, on the other hand, should start in the starting line-up, after suffering from ankle discomfort and being left out of the duel against Fiorentina last Saturday. Roma were beaten 2-1, away from home, and lost their chances of qualifying for the Champions League via Serie A. Giallorossi to be in the next Champions League is if they win the Europa League.
