Equestrian classic in tribute to the Red Cross of Guayas will measure Che Corredor against Soda Stereo | Other Sports | Sports

Five sprinters will compete on Sunday, at the Miguel Salem Dibo racetrack, in the classic in honor of the Guayas Red Cross.

The Kantor horses will start from the starting post of the 1,300 meters, with Carlos Lozano in the saddle; Fat Fish, with Jandry Ibarra; Mahalo Hawaii, with Ronald González; Che Corridor, with Luis Hurtado; and Soda Stereo, with Manuel González.

The Argentine Che Corredor is emerging as one of the favorites to win. His performances are remarkable. And, according to a press release, if Hurtado takes it well, it will be difficult to defeat the pensioner from the Tres Patines block.

The main fight will be with Soda Stereo, chosen the best horse of 2021 and who wants to vindicate himself this season with González in the saddle. He also goes strong to the Fat Fish fight; the fastest on the racecourse seeks end to end.

The fifth test will be the special of the day for national foals. Eight dogs will run, including the debutant Three Dog Night, called to win the distance of 1,100 meters and ridden by Daniel Álvarez.

The dispute could occur with Gringa, a distance specialist, and the also newcomer Bolondron. Pasionale will go for the surprise.

Another six races will be held on Sunday at the Samborondón racecourse. First, second, third and fourth will be in the kilometer, while the sixth and eighth (last) will comprise 1,300 meters. (D)
