Firefighters have extinguished a fire at a hospital in Podolsk in the Moscow region, emergency officials reported.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Moscow Region announced on its website that the consequences of the fire were fully eliminated at 10:56 p.m. No casualties were reported in the incident.
A total of 39 personnel and 14 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the blaze.
Emergency responders had earlier evacuated 26 people from the hospital building, including 12 minors. Rescuers also carried two children out of the intensive care unit.
