Analyzed by modality, the intensive use of data from a mobile phone corresponded to the postpaid segment (control and postpaid) with 49,767 MB of average traffic per mobile line, which represented 4.6 times the average traffic from the prepaid segment (10,776 MB) .

In parallel, 49.4% of all mobile phones corresponded to the prepaid segment and handled the remaining 17.5% of data traffic.

With these results, the average monthly traffic reported from mobile devices during 2021 was 9,613 MB, a new historical record due to the increase observed in the average monthly data volume from prepaid (3,549 MB) and postpaid lines (15,355 MB).
