Osinergmin will see natural gas vents

On the other hand, the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem) delegated this week to Osinergmin the total competence of attention and qualification of natural gas venting (activity that is carried out exceptionally and in a controlled manner in special and emergency situations).

Through Supreme Decree 001-2022-MINEM, this regulatory change was approved that speeds up the obtaining and qualification of “inevitable” natural gas vents in cases of contingency, emergency or operations.

In this way, a possible delay in the process is avoided, which guarantees the safety of the operations of the hydrocarbon sector and of the communities that coexist with the activity.
