Osinergmin reports a sharp drop in the price of petroleum-derived fuels

Osinergmin published this Monday the report of international reference prices of petroleum-derived fuels, with decreases in diesel and gasoline between 4.65% and 6.81% per gallon, while diesel and residuals decreased by up to 6.81% and 5 , 43% per gallon, respectively.

This was reported by the Peruvian Consumers and Users Organization (Opecu), after diesel and gasoline fell to S / 0.61 or 6.62% in their value per gallon, equivalent to S / 0.78, including taxes; while B5 diesel contracted to S / 0.65 or 6.8% per gallon, translated into a fall of S / 0.77, including taxes.

This occurred after the international reference prices for petroleum-derived fuels fell by as much as S / 0.65 or 6.81% per gallon. LPG -whose price is subject to the variations contemplated by the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund- decreased S / 0.22 or 7.01% per kilo, and is S / 0.26 including tax.

“A sharp drop in prices should be reflected in the Peruvian market. Refineries, importers, wholesalers and the marketing chain must transfer complete and timely price reductions, in harmony with suitable consumer relations or commercial transactions, as established by the Consumer Protection and Defense Code “, stated the president of Opecu , Héctor Plate Cánepa.

Opecu: drop in diesel price

  • Gasohol 84. Reduced from S / 9.22 to S / 8.81, falling S / 0.41 or 6.62% per gallon, equivalent to S / 0.58 including taxes, in the domestic market.
  • Gasohol 90. It fell from S / 9.78 to S / 9.34, decreasing S / 0.44 or 4.50% per gallon, whose equivalence is S / 0.56, including taxes, in fuel establishments in the country .
  • Gasohol 95. It decreased from S / 10.10 to S / 9.63, decreasing S / 0.47 or 4.65% per gallon, and should be reflected in S / 0.60 per gallon, including taxes, at the national level.
  • Gasohols 97 and 98. They drop from S / 10.29 to S / 9.81 and lose S / 0.48 or 4.66% per gallon, which should impact S / 0.61 per gallon, including taxes, on taps and service stations.

Opecu: drop in gasoline prices

  • Gasoline 84. It falls from S / 8.74 to S / 8.28, reducing S / 0.46 or 5.26% per gallon, equivalent to S / 0.59 including taxes.
  • Gasoline 90. Reduced from S / 9.36 to S / 8.85, falling S / 0.51 or 5.45% per gallon, thus its price will decrease by S / 0.65 including taxes, from refineries to retail outlets. public.

Opecu: drop in diesel price

  • Diesel B5 (0 to 2500 ppm). It fell from S / 10.22 to S / 9.67, contracting S / 0.55 or 5.38% per gallon, and its impact will be S / 0.65 including tax, in the Peruvian market.
  • Diesel B5 (2500-5000 ppm). Reduction of S / 9.54 S / 8.89 reducing S / 0.65 or 6.81% per gallon, whose equivalence is S / 0.77 including tax.

Opecu: industrial and LPG fall
