Federal civil servants in Russia received an average monthly pension of 39,536 rubles as of July 1, according to data from the Social Fund of the Russian Federation obtained by RIA Novosti. The fund reported that 99,200 federal civil servants receive these payments.
Working civil servant pensioners receive an average of 40,601 rubles per month. Non-working civil servant pensioners receive an average of 39,409 rubles per month.
Pension coefficients and total retirees
Earlier reports indicated that a monthly salary of at least 74,000 rubles provides working pensioners in Russia with the maximum number of individual pension coefficients. Working pensioners receive a maximum of three coefficients each year.
The Social Fund previously reported that the total number of pensioners across Russia reached nearly 40.5 million people.
