Taiwanese computer manufacturer ASUS has officially launched sales of its new Zenbook 14 compact laptop in Ukraine, offering models powered by Intel, AMD, and Snapdragon processors. The ultraportable notebook arrives with prices starting at 45,999 UAH for the base configuration.
Designed for mobile work with integrated artificial intelligence features, the new Zenbook 14 weighs from 1.1 kg. The laptop features a specialized chassis constructed from Ceraluminum, a high-tech material developed to blend the tactile qualities and strength of ceramic with the lightweight properties of aluminum alloy.
In Ukraine, ASUS is offering the laptop at a promotional starting price of 46,000 UAH. For this amount, buyers receive an entry-level configuration powered by a Snapdragon X processor, equipped with 8 GB of random-access memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive. Customers purchasing the notebook in the country also receive a free three-month subscription to Google AI Pro.
Processor platforms and artificial intelligence
The Zenbook 14 is available across three distinct hardware platforms: the AMD Ryzen AI 7 345, the Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3, and the Snapdragon X. These chips represent hardware from three major semiconductor designers, giving buyers a choice between traditional x86 computer architectures and energy-efficient ARM-based processing.
Each of the three processor options features a dedicated Neural Processing Unit, or NPU. ASUS explained that these built-in AI engines allow the laptop to run selected artificial intelligence tasks directly on the device, reducing the need to rely constantly on cloud services for data processing.
According to the manufacturer, local hardware acceleration provides practical benefits when using digital content processing tools, conducting video calls, performing system searches, and handling routine daily tasks. Configurations equipped with these neural processors meet Microsoft Copilot+ PC classification standards, allowing them to utilize native Windows artificial intelligence tools locally.
Display technology and hardware features
The Zenbook 14 comes equipped with a 14-inch OLED display utilizing a 16:10 aspect ratio. Organic Light-Emitting Diode technology uses self-illuminating pixels to deliver deep contrast and true black levels. In higher-tier configurations, ASUS provides a 3K resolution panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother visual performance.
Audio capabilities on the device include integrated speakers calibrated with Dolby Atmos surround sound technology. ASUS produces the Zenbook 14 in three distinct color finishes: Arctic Blue, Komodo Coral, and Zabriskie Beige. Physical controls feature a backlit keyboard alongside an enlarged touchpad with gesture support.
Battery performance and thermal management
Depending on the specific configuration, the Zenbook 14 carries a battery capacity of up to 70 Wh. ASUS claims that the laptop can achieve a battery operational time exceeding 30 hours on a single charge, making it suitable for long working sessions away from power outlets.
To manage heat, ASUS updated the internal cooling system to support a thermal design power package of up to 35 W. Company data indicates that this thermal capacity represents a 25 percent increase over the cooling performance of the previous generation Zenbook model.
Connectivity and security features
Physical connection options on the Zenbook 14 include USB-C ports, a USB-A port, an HDMI output, and a combined 3.5 mm audio jack for external headsets. For biometric security and video calls, the notebook includes an AiSense infrared camera compatible with Windows Hello facial recognition, alongside a Microsoft Pluton security processor built into the hardware die to safeguard user credentials.
