Ukrainian ride-hailing provider Uklon has acquired 100 percent of the corporate rights of electric scooter operator e-Wings for 97.6 million UAH. The purchase marks the first merger and acquisition transaction in the company's history, according to the Uklon press service.
The Lviv-based scooter company will change its name to Uklon Scooters. Uklon Chief Executive Officer Serhiy Hryshkov said the deal was a landmark moment for Uklon as it scales through M&A for the first time.
Fleet expansion and team integration
e-Wings operates a total fleet of about 3,000 electric scooters across 11 cities, including Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Kremenchuk, Sumy, Horishni Plavni, Drohobych, Zolochiv, Ternopil, Irpin, and Chernihiv. Over 20 members of the e-Wings team joined Uklon following the transaction.
e-Wings co-founders Roman Motruk and Oleh Bilyi will continue working at Uklon. However, the micro-mobility division will operate under Uklon Chief Operating Officer Vadym Ishchenko, who leads the development of new products and services.
During the transition period, customers will continue renting scooters through the e-Wings mobile application until the service is integrated into the main Uklon app.
Company growth and ownership
Founded in 2010, Uklon includes the Uklon ride-hailing platform, Uklon Delivery, Uklon Ads, Uklon Travel bus ticketing, Uklon Store marketplace, and Uklon Scooters. As of August 2026, Uklon operates in 27 Ukrainian cities, the Bukovel resort area, and Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Telecommunications company Kyivstar, owned by Kyivstar Group Ltd. and part of the Veon group, acquired Uklon in April 2025.
