Greece has moved its official Tourism for All 2026-2027 scheme into its next phase following the publication of initial lottery draw results.
Successful applicants in the lottery will receive digital voucher cards worth up to 400 euros to subsidise domestic holiday stays, with the administrative process moving forward automatically without requiring additional actions from beneficiaries.
Applicants can check whether they were selected by accessing the official online platform of the program. Searches are performed using the applicant's unique application number rather than their full name or other personal identification details.
The published results tables list each applicant's rank from the lottery draw alongside the last four digits of their Greek tax identification number, known as an AFM. The listings are separated into High Period and Low Period tables based on the travel window selected during application.
Digital card issuance and activation
Individuals selected as beneficiaries in the draw do not need to submit further documentation at this stage. Official files are being transferred directly to the commercial banks selected by applicants during the submission process.
Participating banks are expected to issue the digital cards within two days of receiving the recipient files. The banks will then send a text message to each beneficiary containing step-by-step instructions on how to set up and activate the voucher card.
At the same time, an email containing a link to create an account password will be sent to the email address registered when the application was first submitted. Once the recipient creates a password, the digital card is activated and ready for use.
The Tourism for All scheme is a Greek government social tourism initiative designed to boost domestic travel and assist local hospitality businesses. The digital voucher functions like a virtual bank card stored on a smartphone, allowing holders to pay directly for hotel accommodations, guest houses, and related lodging services throughout Greece.
Subsidy amounts for travel periods
The monetary value of the voucher depends on the designated travel period chosen by the applicant. For standard beneficiaries, the subsidy is set at 200 euros for the High Period and 300 euros for the Low Period.
Increased financial support is provided for specific social categories, including pensioners, families with three children, and individuals with a certified disability rating exceeding 67 percent. For these groups, the subsidy rises to 300 euros for Low Period stays and 400 euros for High Period stays.
Automatic entry for second phase
Applicants who were not selected in the first draw are not excluded from the program. Unsuccessful candidates from the initial round remain potential beneficiaries and will automatically be considered for the second phase of Tourism for All 2026-2027.
No secondary application form is required for the second phase, and no new draw will be held. Beneficiaries for the second stage will be selected directly from the existing ranked list of unselected applicants based on the order established in the initial lottery.
Subsidy amounts will remain unchanged for the second phase. Funding for the additional vouchers will be provided through an extra budget provision allocated to the scheme, supplemented by any unused funds remaining from the first phase.
