Arshavin advised Safonov to move to PSG without hesitation
Former Russian national team player Andrei Arshavin spoke about the possible transfer of Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov to Parisian PSG. His words are quoted by Match TV.
According to the ex-player, his compatriot should, without hesitation, accept the offer if it comes. “It will be super cool if he transfers. For me, this is fantastic in terms of the fact that it will be very cool. Our Russian goalkeeper goes to PSG for 20 million!” – said Arshavin.
PSG’s interest in Safonov became known earlier on May 22. As Legalbet learned, the Parisian club has already contacted the management of Krasnodar about a possible transfer.
In the current season of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Safonov played 29 matches, in which he missed 27 goals. The goalkeeper finished ten meetings with a clean sheet.
