Nair Tiknizyan called the transfer to a European club a step forward for the Russians
Midfielder of Lokomotiv and the Armenian national team Nair Tiknizyan told why Russian football players need to go to European clubs. RB Sport reports this.
The player explained that this will benefit the players and will be a step forward for them. “Let’s be honest, the level of football in the top leagues in Europe is higher than in the RPL, plus there are European cups there. And when I talk about the need to leave, I mean only the most positive,” Tiknizyan said.
On September 12, the head coach of the Russian national team, Valery Karpin, called on Russian players to leave for European clubs. He noted that he advised leaving the RPL many times. The coach explained that he feels the difference between the level of the national team players who play in Europe and those who remain at home.
Tiknizyan played 15 matches in the Russian Championship this season. He has five goals and two assists.
