On September 25, on one of Krakow’s streets, a Cracovia fan beat Paweł M. with the pseudonym “Misiek”. There was a recording of this event on the Internet. “The recordings last a minute in total. But the whole event lasted 20 minutes, and Paweł M. was finally beaten by a Cracovia fan” – wrote Jadczak. The police did not arrive until 40 minutes. “Misiek” was to suffer a rupture of an eye socket, eye and knee damage.
“Misiek” and his lawyer reported the case to the police. As “” writes, the officers arrested the perpetrator, who turned out to be Robert B., three days after the incident. The man has already heard the accusations: injuring the victim, threatening to kill the victim in court proceedings and insulting him. The court, at the request of the prosecutor’s office, decided to keep Robert B. in custody for three months.
The lawyer of “Miśka” in an interview with “Gazeta Krakowska” stated that his client had been attacked and was only defending himself. He added that the insults directed at “Miśek” “had to do with the procedural attitude of his client.” He also confirmed that “Misiek” had a cracked eye socket.
Who is Paweł M. nickname “Misiek”?
Paweł M. pseudonym “Misiek” is one of the most famous pseudo-fans in Poland. He gained fame 24 years ago when, during the UEFA Cup match between Wisła Kraków and Parma, he threw a knife in the head of Dino Baggio, for which he was imprisoned for seven years. Later, “Miśek” became famous again when Szymon Jadczak, a journalist from the Polish Army, revealed the backstage of the Vistula authorities’ connections with the criminal world. “Misiek” was the leader of the “Sharks” gang, which dealt with, inter alia, drug trafficking and robbery. Eventually, “Misiek” ended up in the hands of the police. And as he did not want to go to prison again, he decided to cooperate with the police and the prosecutor’s office, becoming a small crown witness. Therefore, after “Miśek” is released (after paying the deposit), he is not entitled to protection from the police.
