Belgian Marc Wilmots was announced this Thursday as the new coach of Raja Casablanca, one of the most successful football clubs in Morocco. He replaced the Tunisian Lassaad Chabbi.

The 52-year-old former player, who played 70 games for the Belgian national team before starting to coach the Red Devils in 2012, he signed with the Moroccan club for two years.
Wilmots had been sacked as Belgium coach in 2016 following elimination to Wales in that year’s UEFA European Cup quarter-finals.

The former attacker then commanded the Costa do Marfim in 2017, and had a brief passage through the Iranian national team.
