Speaking in a video published on the YouTube channel I Gryanul Grem, Solntsev revealed that the Kashira City Court of Moscow Oblast recently ordered him to pay 10,000 rubles for reposting content from media outlets recognised as undesirable in Russia.

Solntsev, whose real surname is Kalganov, was previously designated as a foreign agent by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. He said that acquaintances made light of the 10,000-ruble fine and jokingly described the amount as trivial.

However, the former show contestant stressed that his friends must understand the recent order is only one of many financial penalties he currently faces. He stated that he has accumulated far too many fines from Russian courts over time.

Legal consultation and life in Los Angeles

Solntsev added that he is actively discussing the court fines issued in Russia with an attorney based in the United States.

The media figure previously commented on his experiences living in Los Angeles, calling his main discovery about the city the reality of its entertainment sector. He stated that, contrary to popular stereotypes, breaking into show business in Los Angeles is difficult.

Broadcasting history and legal designations

Solntsev gained national recognition in Russia as a participant on Dom-2, a long-running reality television series that debuted in 2004. The show became one of the most widely watched broadcasts in the country, following contestants as they constructed a property while pursuing relationships.

Russia's Ministry of Justice maintains a register of foreign agents, a legal status that imposes strict reporting requirements and financial disclaimers on individuals and organisations. Russian authorities also maintain a list of undesirable organisations, prohibiting citizens from publishing or sharing their material.
