Firefighters rescued two children from an intensive care unit after a fire broke out in the children's building of a hospital in Podolsk, Moscow Region. Russian news outlet Baza reported that the blaze occurred inside the pediatric block.
Emergency workers evacuated another 26 people from the hospital, including 12 minors, alongside the two children rescued from intensive care. The Telegram channel 112 reported that no one was injured in the fire.
Hospital Access and Damage
Journalists reported that emergency crews had to use special equipment to cut through a fence to enter the medical facility grounds. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Moscow Region stated that the fire covered an area of 12 square meters and has been extinguished.
