Greek broadcaster Nova has unveiled its upcoming television schedule, featuring live Stoiximan Super League matches alongside top European football on Novasports and Magenta Sport.
The Greek domestic championship returns for its sixth matchday following the conclusion of international fixtures in the UEFA Nations League. Coverage is highlighted by the derby between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, which will be broadcast on Magenta Sport on 11 October at 21:00.
The Stoiximan Super League is the top professional football division in Greece. The match between Piraeus club Olympiacos and Athens rivals Panathinaikos represents one of the longest-standing rivalries in Greek sport. Magenta Sport will also broadcast AEK against OFI on 10 October at 19:30 and Kifisia against Panetolikos on 11 October at 17:00.
Novasports will screen three domestic matches during matchday six. Asteras Aktor host Atromitos on 10 October at 19:30, Aris play Volos on 11 October at 19:00, and PAOK face Kalamata on 12 October at 18:00. The domestic football coverage on Novasports will be accompanied by the studio programme I Ora ton Protathlon, hosted by Yannikos Douskas, Lila Kountourioti and Apostolis Lambos.
Premier League Matches and Bundesliga Action
Novasports will broadcast all 380 matches of the English Premier League live across the season. Matchday six is led by the clash between Liverpool and Manchester City on 11 October at 18:30, with commentary provided by Christos Sotirakopoulos. Additional featured English fixtures include Arsenal against Leeds on 10 October at 14:30, Chelsea against Bournemouth at 17:00, and Manchester United against Tottenham at 19:30. Crystal Palace face Nottingham Forest on 11 October at 16:00.
The Premier League is England's top tier of professional football and commands a massive global television audience. Manchester City and Liverpool have been among the dominant forces in English football in recent years. Novasports will support its English match coverage with two dedicated preview programmes, Premier League Kick Off and Premier League The Show, hosted by Angelos Styliadis and Giorgos Samaras.
German football features on Novasports with matchday five of the Bundesliga. Dortmund take on Werder on 9 October at 21:30, followed on 10 October by Augsburg against Bayern and Mainz against Leverkusen, both starting at 16:30. Ilias Vlahos will host the studio show Match Day Live. Second tier 2. Bundesliga matchday seven coverage includes Heidenheim against Kaiserslautern on 9 October at 19:30, Nuremberg against Wolfsburg on 10 October at 21:30, and two matches on 11 October at 14:30: Bochum against Bielefeld and Hertha Berlin against Greuther Furth.
European Leagues and Additional Sports
The Bundesliga is Germany's primary football competition, featuring leading clubs such as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Dutch Eredivisie matchday eight matches will also air on Novasports, starting on 9 October with PSV against Heerenveen at 21:00. On 10 October, Feyenoord face Alkmaar at 19:45 and Ajax play Nijmegen at 22:00, before Utrecht take on Willem II on 11 October at 13:15. The Eredivisie is the top division of football in the Netherlands, historically dominated by Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven.
Magenta Sport will broadcast matchday six of Italy's Serie A. Inter play Parma on 10 October at 19:00 and Napoli face Frosinone at 21:45. On 11 October, Como host Roma at 13:30, Sassuolo face Milan at 19:00, and Cagliari take on Juventus at 21:45. Liga Portugal Betclic matchday eight features Braga against Sporting Lisbon on 9 October at 22:15, Maritimo against Porto on 10 October at 20:00, and Benfica against Vitoria Guimaraes on 11 October at 20:00.
Serie A is Italy's top professional football competition, home to historical European clubs such as Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan. Liga Portugal Betclic represents the highest level of Portuguese football, led by traditional powerhouses Benfica, Sporting Lisbon and Porto. Novasports will also broadcast combat sports event ONE Friday Fights 175 along with women's tennis tournaments WTA 1000 China Open and WTA 1000 Wuhan Open. Basketball coverage on Magenta Sport includes matchday one of the FIBA Basketball Champions League group stage, featuring Peristeri against Bamberg on 6 October at 19:30 and AEK against Salon Vilpas on 7 October at 19:00.
