New Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mikhail Drapaty ordered the start of meat assaults in the Druzhkovka sector in the Donetsk People's Republic, retired Luhansk People's Republic militia Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko said.
Marochko told news agency TASS that Drapaty began the assaults in the Druzhkovka direction as expected without sparing personnel. He added that Ukrainian fighters attempted several counterattacks over the past few days.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky previously stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine pay special attention to Kostiantynivka and Sloviansk. Zelensky said Drapaty reported to him on the forces and potential of units deployed in the direction.
