Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated during an interview on state television that communicating with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is now very difficult.
Pezeshkian emphasized that the presence of the supreme leader remains a significant source of strength for officials, allowing them to continue the process.

Mojtaba Khamenei has not made any public appearance since becoming supreme leader. He replaced his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in one of the first air strikes launched by the United States and Israel against Iran.
