United States President Donald Trump has stated his intention to reach an agreement with Iran, according to a report by news agency RIA Novosti. Speaking during an address to voters in Las Vegas, Trump emphasized that he does not want to kill people.
Trump noted that negotiations are underway and that officials would see what happens next, adding that Iran respects the United States. He previously stated that talks with Iran were moving forward successfully and that results would appear within 48 hours.
Negotiations with Tehran
The American leader also gave a positive assessment of a dialogue held with Tehran on August 4.
