Jake Reiner has broken his silence over the fatal stabbings of his parents, director Rob Reiner and wife Michele, at their Los Angeles home.
The couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, is currently held in prison and faces double homicide charges in connection with the killings, having received an upgraded indictment on August 13, 2026.
In an interview broadcast by local television station KABC-TV, Jake Reiner stated that his mother and father never stopped supporting his brother, who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia just weeks prior to the double murder.
